i have finally succumbed to the badminton mania that has hit this country. i started playing badminton with officemates for the past 2 weeks now. i don't even have a badminton racket! hahaha.

so what made me join this mania? i guess because i've realized that i need a more active lifestyle. i used to go to the gym thrice a week. after my 1-year membership expired, my exercise consisted mainly of the stairs of the building where i live and the weekend run (more of strolling actually) at my alma matter on sundays. is cleaning the bathroom and bedroom considered exercise? ü

i hope to continue playing badminton once a week.

i miss my cubicle

seriously, i do. i haven't been "staying" in my cubicle for the past 3 days. take wednesday, i was in Jedi Master's cubicle all day long. it took us the whole day to migrate to the new platform. thursday was brainstorming day for Game Zone's tagline. friday was spent at Talent Center.

i miss sitting the whole day in my cubicle and doing some work and some not-work. i miss listening to my preferred music. i miss its crampiness, where i'm bound to spill my glass of water. i miss resting my feet on my Altec Lansing speakers. i miss sitting yoga-style with my shoes on.

but i don't miss Cross Patch talking to me from 5 meters away, barking orders and asking irrelevant questions.

after dropping off Favorite Godchild at school, White Mommy, Black Daddy and I ate at Manang's. yummy! inihaw na liempo at 8 AM with matching itlog na maalat and kamatis. cardiac delight right?

i was so full when i came to the office. and just on time. so much for my plan to go to the office really early to get some work done.

my left ankle hurts real bad. its a bit sore. like its disconnected from the rest of my leg. i really don't know what caused this because my right ankle aint hurting. all i can think of was that 12 hours i spent at Rockwell last saturday.

sigh, going to the mall is really a sin. though i wasn't able to buy anything since i only brought P400. Esprit was on sale. so was Fossil. imagine, the Philippe Starck watch i've been eyeing for a year was being sold at P3K! i *heart* the Nike Janeiro Thong. and lotsa lotsa books at Fully Booked.

but i digress. this post is supposed to be about my sore left ankle. sorry, its just that i haven't been to the mall for months.

i received today the pics from the SCQ Reload photo shoot last week. i forwarded Hero Angeles' pics to a friend of mine since i know she's a big fan and my gawd, i didn't expect her to be this crazy:

klepto on the loose

i have been living in a building for the last 9 years. i usually share my room with 1 or 2 other people. i've lost count of how many roommates i've had.

my 2 new roommates moved in last sunday. so its barely a week since we've been together.

this morning when i woke up, my roommates didn't spend the night in our room, instinct told me to check my snoopy piggy bank. counting my money, lo and behold, i realized that P200 was missing.

mygaaaaaaaawd! my new rommmates have the guts to steal from me.

this is not the first time that something has been stolen from me. the first time was way back in college but everyone in the building was a victim. the poor girl really needed money. so this makes it the first time that i'm the sole victim.

yes, its just P200 but something stolen is something stolen. i wouldn't have minded if the thief left a note saying: "i borrowed money from your piggy bank. i will pay you back." or she could have texted me. i would have perfectly understood her. but she didn't so this is really theft.

i called my mom to tell her about the incident, and man, was she furious. she suggested that i rent the place alone but i told her my measly salary can't afford it. she didn't want to send me money to pay for my rent either. so we were back to square one. she suggested that i put a padlock in all my cabinets (now i have to buy 5 padlocks) which i agreed to do. she also told me to go home early next week and observe my roommates.

i also told my psychiatrist friend about this and she asked me to describe my rommmates. her conclusion: they are her prospective patients. hahaha.

what else will i lose next? my jewellery, just when my mom gave me whole lotta necklaces and bracelets last january? my watches that i line up on top of my cabinet? my panty? my bra?

i've squeezed in all my stuff in one cabinet (you can just imagine what it looks like) because i only have one padlock available (oh, so that makes it 4 to-be-bought padlocks only).

let's see what happens in the next few days. i've placed a fashion jewellery on top of my cabinet as bait. i've also placed on note on their cabinets and the last sentence reads: "I'm mad."

i found out last saturday that friendster has been unblocked from our network. so today, i logged in and added 3 friends. click here. click there. and i found out that one of the people in my network removed me from her list of friends.

its not that i care that i'm not on her list. i just feel its too much a coincidence that i saw her today, she sat in front of the cubicle where i was seated (not my cubicle) while waiting for her friend, and i almost had dinner with her.
