my lunchmates and i go out for lunch every day. but today, i had a photo shoot (no, not me) for the SCQ2 and it was running late, so i had to buy lunch at mini stop and eat in the office pantry.

there were only 3 people inside the pantry, 2 seating down and eating salad and another one standing up. there was one available chair and i sat down on it. i started opening my lunch when Old One said "Bratty, that's my chair."

i replied, "No, its not, you're standing." he said, "No, that's MY chair."

i got pissed off and i couldn't help myself so i retorted, "Ganito pala dito sa pantry, territorial."

and the three of them fell silent. and i ate my lunch in silence.

after 10 minutes, the Old One said, "Ang tahimik ni Bratty ah, di nagsasalita."

i didn't reply nor made any expression, i just continued eating my lunch. My Brand Manager "saved" me by saying, "Hindi, gutom lang yan si Bratty."

the Old One could have said it in a better way and i wouldn't be pissed off. jeez, what a jerk. aside from the way he said it, the following facts added to my pissed-off state: (1) he's a guy for goodness sakes; (2) he can easily grab a chair (4 chairs to be exact) that was a meter away from him; and (3) he's 2 decades older than me.

thank god, he'll be on leave starting tomorrow.

i love vodka ice

last night was Head Honcho's despedida party. they were serving beer, which is fine by me but i prefer vodka. so i asked the office help to buy me vodka ice. yummmmmmm. there i was, after 3 bottles of vodka ice and 2 cans of light beer, i was drunk. no, i wasn't puking or anything but my officemates pulled a prank on me that i realized 2 days after. sheesh. how embarrassing! anyhow, in every lasingan, there's nothing i do that's right :)

cough and colds are the hippest thing to hit town nowadays and i am one of the victims. sigh. i haven't been feeling well since sunday evening :(

don't forget to drink lots of water and vitamins.

small feet

out of the blue, my seatmate said: ang cute talaga ng paa mo bratty, ang liit.

jeez.

in case you haven't seen my feet yet, i have small feet for my built and height. not that i'm really tall but people smaller than me are at least 2 shoe sizes bigger than my shoe size. that's why i really have a hard time looking for shoes that are not awkward to look at when i'm wearing them.

and that goes true for my hands as well. i have short and stout fingers.

my shoe size? its a 6.

shitty memo

its the second month of the year and i got my second memo as well. bloody hell.

will this be a monthly trend? oooh, i'm excited for my third memo already. i wonder what it'll be. i am so glad that this month is just 28 days. i can't wait for march!
