the captain

i knew that i was part of the offertory group in White Mommy and Black Daddy's wedding. so i really made it a point not to be late. but i was still late. but that's not the story.

according to the misalette, the offertory group consists of 3 pairs (a guy and a girl = pair). and i would carrying the fruits.

i knew waaaaaaaaay back that my partner would be Benjo. though he may not know me, but i do know what he looks like. i've seen him once during White Mommy's baby shower late last year. but that's not the story.

out of the 3 guys, only Benjo showed up. all 3 of us girls showed up. that kinda made the wedding organizers panic a little bit. and this is where all the surprise started.

after a little bit of rearranging, Benjo carried the 2 candles instead of the fruits. the 2 other girls carried the flowers (?!) and i was still stuck with the fruits.

surprise surprise!!! my instant partner was Alvin Patrimonio. yep, my partner was The Captain of PBA, nonetheless.

ALL of my officemates where staring at me and giggling while i was walking down the aisle. i was so humiliated. they were even taking pictures. ugh! but i was smarter, i raised the fruit basket high enough so that it would cover my face. no more camera tricks!

so i walked fast enough (one step of his = 2.5 steps for me) and zoomed straight to the altar. and next thing i knew, the offertory procession was over and done with. whew!

when i returned to my place, my officemates were still giggling. oh great!!!!! *rolls eyes* they even scolded me for covering my face!! *whatever*

i know some people would die of envy if they knew i was Alvin Patrimonio's offertory partner. but i wasn't amused. on the other hand, its one story i'll never forget ü

my all-time favorite tennis player is pete sampras

he's been missing in action for months already. i've grown tired of reading the sports news which says he's skipping the next tournament. finally, official words from one of the greatest tennis players EVER: he's going to officially retire at the U.S. Open.

i'm going to watch the ceremonies. i think it'll be an affair to remember for all of his fans.

i've been downloading pictures for our horoscope project. i dunno how many different pictures of a ram, bull, crab, scales, and other zodiac symbols our designer will need in designing MMS wallpapers. i'm getting dizzy already. is 7MB of materials enough?

gimmick week

i'm tired for the wrong reasons. i've been out all week (and will be out the rest of the weekend). i watched Finding Nemo last Monday with Summer Breeze and Cranberries. i saw a couple of college faces. Tuesday, i went to Makati Shangrila in the morning, lunch at Glorietta and then tried a formal dress at Luna. Wednesday, i watched Finding Nemo for the second time and then watched another movie, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, 30 minutes after finishing Finding Nemo with Rinoa and Door. the usual Thursday inuman. and then dinner with roomies tonight. Tiger's baptism (finally afer 6 years!!!) tomorrow afternoon. White Mommy's bridal shower tomorrow evening. AVP shoot for White Mommy and Black Daddy's wedding on Sunday. and i still don't have anything to wear for the wedding! i still don't have gift for Tiger tomorrow and for the wedding as well. ugh!

i don't get it!

i sent this email to the 2 new employees in the office. we were asked to orient them about our jobs so we had to set a meeting with them for the orientation.

wait, wait, wait. i don't get it. i was asking for a 10 am meeting and not a 1030 am meeting so i think there's no conflict in there. and its not as if their 1030 am meeting would be in makati. they'll be meeting with my seatmate. the one seated on my left. my gath! calculate how far that is! uhhhhh, a few inches away from me?!?!?! haayyyy, its so early in the morning and i get this unnecessary headache.

White Mommy told me yesterday that she dreamt about me and Trager. my gath! what an absurd dream. she said i will bump into him soon. oh please, i'd rather bump myself into a wall.

now, i'm so scared again of walking / strolling alone in my neighborhood. ugh!!!! oh well, i'll just keep on praying that her dream will never happen.

meritocracy

meritocracy is defined as a social system which allows people to achieve success proportionate to their talents and abilities, as opposed to one in which social class or wealth is the controlling factor.

pretty fair huh? yeah, but its all in the words since meritocracy can only exist in a utopian setting. i have yet to see meritocracy in action. especially in this forsaken office.

getting serious

the discussions i had with friends today were downright serious. super serious. we talked about our future. how we should start planning for it, acting on our plans, achieving our plans, and hopefully, realizing our dreams. its too much for a work day. i will have to cut everything into pieces these next few days and chew them well before i finally tell my family and my friends my future life ü

i learned last friday that Head Honcho will be on leave this week. i told people that Cross Patch will be doing the same thing as well. well, well, well. true enough, she just called Head Honcho's secretary and said she wont be coming back to work today. wohoooooooo. its partytime ü

sorting hat

i wish every company has a sorting hat. the sorting hat would tell you if you are fit to join the company or not. if you're a fit, the sorting hat would also tell you which department you would belong. this will make every laborer's life E-A-S-Y. no stray laborer. no confused laborer. sigh.

i tried sorting my life last year. i decided to move to another department. look what it has done to me. i have never been angtsy THIS long. ugh!!!!

i wasn't able to sleep well last night because i tried sorting my life. for ease and comfort, i'll be handing down my resignation this month. for revenge and getting the most of my money, i'll be handing it down this december. so what's my choice? of course, december! ha! we shall see.

as for Black Daddy, if ateneo wins this saturday, i'll stay. go archers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you need to win!!!!!!! to hell with loyalty!!!!!!! hahahaha.

its a saturday and i'm in the office. what brought me here? the text message i got from Cross Patch. why didn't she tell me about it yesterday when she was bugging me????? why did she have to tell me about it on a weekend? oh gawd! she's a certified goddamned bitch from hell!!!!!

i love this game

the ateneo blue eagles won their fourth straight win against the up fighting maroons just a few minutes ago. woo hooo hooo. it was a tight game!!!! won by 2 points! i even thought we would lose to the maroons in the final seconds of the game. for a better recap, read it all here.
