signs i'm stressed and overworked

1.) i called up my teammate without remembering why i was calling him. thank goodness he didn't answer my call. he was outdoors that's why he couldn't hear that his phone was ringing.

2.) i missent an email to a person. the intended recipient has the same first name as the unfortunate recipient. the email contained a sensitive topic. it was about Champorado. jeez.

3.) i missent a text message to my officemate. it was for my best friend. waaaaaaah. this time, my eyes (or brain?) told me that the recipient was my best friend.

4.) i am late 3x this week. i see another HR memo coming my way. the 2 other days, i arrived 1 minute before the witching hour and the other one 3 minutes earlier.

5.) i still can't remember where i removed my Baby-G watch. i know i was still wearing it yesterday but this morning, i couldn't find it in my dresser. not anywhere in the house. the sad thing is, i feel fine. because i know i lost it because i'm lost right now. ugh! this isn't making sense.

what my seatmate told me this morning when i told her all that's been happening to me this week: kulang ka sa alak!

pancreatitis

OJT Killer was rushed to the hospital today. the diagnosis, pancreatitis. holy shit. what the f*ck is that? i panicked because according to the medical report of Orbitz Boy, that's the cause of his death. or so they say. but that's another story.

anyways, i'm reading up on pancreatitis. just so i have an idea how to prevent it.

tuedays

i dread tuesdays. its not a good day for our team. if we can totally skip it together, we will without hesitation. something bad always happens. it was a tuesday when i lost my temper with Vee-atch. it was a tuesday when AsSamTa handed that "demand" letter. ugh! too many too mention. and not worth remembering at all.

on the way to work this morning, i was texting when suddenly my phone died. i thought that i ran out of batt since there was only one bar of batt left when i woke up this morning. when i arrived in the office, i quickly plugged my phone on my neighbor's charger but the phone is not charging. i moved to my teammate's charger, nothing happened. i borrowed the office secretary's charger, still nothing happened. i borrowed the battery of my officemate to check if my phone would still boot up, but it didn't. then and there, i knew that my phone crashed. p*ta naman.

there was a scheduled recording today at 4PM. about 5 minutes before the sked, the computer could not detect the sound card. i called our database administrator (i couldn't find a single tech support in their work areas) to help fix our problem. then the artist arrived. about 30 minutes later, the problem was still not fixed. we had to let go of our artist and asked for a resked. p*ta naman.

for the past 3 months now, we have been trying in vain to get Krel to do her recording. every week, her manager gives a schedule. but at the last minute, she backs out. all personal reasons. her manager can't do anything because she knows Krel will call her mom and mom will surely scream at her. today Krel has a scheduled recording. i asked my teammate to wait outside her dressing room so that when her taping is finished, he can "escort" her to the office. but no! she didn't go out of her dressing room. she just told her 2 managers that she can't record again tonight. p*ta naman.

i'm so glad this day is about to end. i can feel the stress on my shoulders already.

oh well, i gotta love tuesdays. our fate just might change.

working on sunday... haay... for the live eliminations of a reality show... hope this will be the first & last time.

bed, bed, bed weather these past few days. makes me wanna stay home all day and skip work altogether. waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

wifi-ed office

each and every cubicle in this office has a network cable. so you just have to plug in your desktop or laptop and voila, you're now connected to the internet. in the big and small conference & meeting rooms, network cables are also present. so pretty much everywhere you go, you can have internet access. even the music room, where its becoming to be the "internet cafe" of the celebs.

but i digress. anyways, yesterday afternoon, there was a slight commotion here. i saw Gramps walking around the office with his iBook in upright position. then i heard, the WiFi is working. oh-kay. cool.

so where do i need a WiFi connection when you can see network cables everywhere? ah, the only remaining area with no internet connection, the pantry. work while you eat. haha.

welcome to my "showbiz" life :) i love my job. heck, i enjoy it. but sometimes it just doesn't use a lot of brainpower :p

corrosion
