i had lunch with Rinoa and Door at Brother's Burger. while waiting for an elevator ride to the 9th floor, i saw someone i knew so i gave her a wave and she waved back at me.

once out of earshot, Rinoa asked me: sino yun?

i replied: mommy ni Michelle Ayalde.

Rinoa and Door were laughing at me. both said "what? pati mga mommy ng mga artista kilala mo?"

MAKE (it to the) TRADE FAIR

no, this not a coldplay post.

ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will be having a trade fair this coming tuesday. i just got word yesterday that i'm part of it. and when's the trade fair again? oh my my, what a hassle! i packed my monday and tuesday with meetings as my boss will be on a 3-week vacation starting wednesday. and because of this recent development, i have to either squeeze or move all my meetings earlier in the day (i hate morning meetings!). hassle!

actually, it'll be a 3-day event for us: ingress on monday afternoon, event on tuesday, and egress on wednesday early morning. i hope i can offset wednesday so that i can rest (yeah, right. i'm just tamad.)

so i attended the pre-prod meeting of the trade fair yesterday, and man, the core committee has lots of things to do to make it to the trade fair. i wish them all the luck! i just hope our booth is not the most pathetic out there.

and worse, i have to buy a khaki cargo pants for this freaking trade fair coz its part of our tacky outfit - white visor, white shirt, khaki cargo pants and white sneakers. and no clothing allowance provided!!!! jeez. i didn't volunteer to be in this trade fair.

whatever consolation i will get from this hassle, i will find out on tuesday.

i just couldn't resist not doing it though it took me sometime before i finally lost control so sometime july, i sent her a message in friendster: i'm that bad huh? you took me off your friends list.

i never got a reply but it doesn't really matter. i just wanted to say it. sometimes tactless me.

so i got the surprise of my life (nah, not really) when i got a friend request from her. ha! you think i'll approve it? no way! not in a million years. million light years that is.

the first round is over and the Ateneo Blue Eagles has a 7-0 record. woooohoooooooo :) thank goodness for that 3-pt shot of LA Tenorio which gave us back the lead. i *heart* LA.

the presence of Larry Fonacier may have been a big factor in today's game :) also seen watching the game were Wesley Gonzales and Enrico Villanueva.

my typhoon

i'm beginning to be the butt of jokes of my family and friends because of the current typhoon hitting the country. the typhoon's name is my name. jeez.

fight a!

during the last few seconds of the admu vs adu game last saturday, when JC Intal made that steal, tears started falling down my cheeks. i don't know why. maybe because i had been holding my breath for the longest time and maybe because i knew we were going to win that game. and we did! thanks to LA Tenorio's 3 pt shot :)

i texted some friends that i was crying at that moment and i was surprised to know that some were crying also. hehe, i'm glad that i'm not alone because then i would feel pathetic.

the next day at the office, my officamate who wasn't able to watch the game because he was watching I, Robot really felt bad that he missed the game. awww. another loyal atenean.

LA said in the interview that he made that shot for team captain Larry Fonacier. i just hope Larry will continue to be their motivation and inspiration for the next games.
