wasted website

someone posted a comment on my first KText post. i was curious as to how she got to my blog.  so i checked my sitemeter, and there i found out that she used google to go to my blog.  her search string: KTEXT ABS-CBN.

then this question posed me: why do people have to resort to searching it when ABS-CBN has its own website?  the answer is plain and simple: because people can't find it in the ABS-CBN website.

it would have been perfectly fine with me if a different subsidiary is handling the updates of the website.  but no! my officemates are the ones updating the website and they can't even write articles about our projects.  heck, they can't even write about the ABS-CBN shows or Star Cinema movies.  they have non-ABS-CBN stuff there. what a waste.  all those servers dedicated to them, not to mention the leased line accounts, and 1 newly-hired staff. *shrug*

no, i'm not asking for help from the webteam in promoting the KText project.  fans of Piolo and the SCQ Teens are posting about it. i owe them a lot. i owe the webteam nothing.

a quarter old

as i've posted earlier, i was not at all depressed days before my 25th birthday, which was actually good for me.
 
but no!
 
yesterday, the celebrities kept calling me "ate".  jeez.  do i really look that old? some celebrities who i know are older than me still called me ate.  sigh.  when we were driving back to the office yesterday, i shared to my officemates what i was feeling.  that i felt old. 
 
i know 25 ain't that bad.  but i see a post-birthday depression coming.  heads up folks.

professional baby sitter

sigh, its so hard to blog when you've been baby sitting celebrities the whole day. and your first meal for the day was at 6:30 pm.
 
last friday, my energy was drained when this bunch of teenagers played Victim on me.  and i quote, "ate, dahil ikaw ay sikat, ikaw ay Victim."  jeez.  a little maturity please.
 
for today, oh wow, a celebrity couple fighting.  i so hate that girl.  she's so primadonna. 
 
ciao! brain aint functioning.  gotta conserve whats left of it.  another baby sitting day tomorrow.

premature

someone just greeted me a happy birthday. its 2 days early. oh great! he just had to remind me that my birthday's coming up. this guy's turning 25 also this 22nd of July and he thought that our birthdays are a week apart so he greeted me today.

its our inside joke that i'm older than him. and he wasn't remiss in doing that today with this text of his: 25 ka na? happy birthday!. and since i'm still technically 24 years of age, i replied: 24 pa rin ako, just like you. and he said: ayaw mo lang mag 24 eh. yeah, so true.

i had a hard time controlling my mouth from saying profanities during the first 3 quarters. for the last quarter, i had a hard time controlling my excitement. go ateneooooooooooooooooo!

Larry Fonacier was amazing!!!! way to go captain! JC Intal is the player to watch out for this season. he'll surely be one of Ateneo's brightest stars in the next 4 years. and it's a good start for coach Sandy Arespacochaga.

i do miss hearing Jude/Kaboom as UAAP commentator.

finally!

we've finally launched the KTEXT project!!!!!!!!!!! this week was unbelievably stressful. my partner thought that i was showing him the pics yesterday when it was just an hour ago. then somebody asked me who will Kristine Hermosa end up with in Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas, and i replied Hero Angeles. jeez.

we still have a lot to polish, but we've already got a good product out there. thank you Lord!

i never imagined someone would use that line to me. i texted a friend about something and the reply was: potah! kelangan pa bang i memorize yan?! oo naman.

i was laughing out loud in the office when i received the reply. i knew the reply would be a "yes" but i never thought the "yes" would be phrased along with that jolog tagline.

it'll be one of my treasured texts forever. not unless i delete my archive again. but thats an old story.

a quarter of a century

i'm turning 25 in a few days. jeeez. i'll be a quarter of a century old by saturday next week.

this year is better than the last 5 years because i'm not having my bouts of depression before my birthday. i get depressed about everything that's happening to my life, which usually ends with this conclusion: my life sucks.

my life still sucks but i'm not sulking. that may be the reason why i'm not having the Great Depression. nice.

if only i could scream

my project now at work requires me to be at TC every week. so i get to see more celebrities. last monday, i had a conversation with Rafael Rosell on Dan Brown's books. he just finished reading The Da Vinci Code and he wants to read Angels and Demons next. i told him i have finished Dan Brown's 4 books.

yesterday, i was teaching Angelica Panganiban how to answer her fanmails. in my almost 5 hours stay at TC, i saw Dominic Ochoa, Kristine Hermosa, Diether Ocampo, Sandara Park, and Joross Gamboa.

on the way back to the office, i saw Jericho Rosales.

if only i could scream.

power sleep

my power sleep days are here again. but its more of, sleepless days. if i sleep at 12 midnight, i am WIDE AWAKE by 2 AM. trying to get back to sleep at 2 AM onwards is an effort in futility. closing my eyes and shutting everything off in the background don't help either. i hear the cars and trucks along katipunan cruising at 160 kph. i can hear the rooster crowing during this ungodly hours. i hear my bed squeak everytime i toss and turn. i can hear everything.

somebody save me from this insomnia mania.

scq day

are you in or out? star circle teen quest!

yes, i spent my day with them. well, not all of them. half of them. the teen questors were scheduled to have recording sessions for ringback tunes. i've got nothing to do with the ringback project so i crafted my own plot to be in that recording session. i told Not The Photographer if i could brief them on the KText project while they were not recording. and he agreed! brilliant!

so there. next thing i knew, we were on our way to the recording. Sandara came in first. poor soul, her taping ended at 6 AM and she was just used in one sequence. boo hoo. the questors road manager kept on coaching her how to say the script and she did listen. she was able to record her spiels fast.

then Errol and Raphael arrived together. they just got off from school. it was actually their lunch time and had to cut class because of this scheduled recording. when Raphael was recording, my officemates and i took turns in having our pictures taken with Sandara. wahahaha.

then a free lunch. that place is cheap! P35 for pinakbet and rice. but i digress again. anyways, while having lunch, Neri arrived with her parents and tita. we officially give her the best actress award for ringback category. man, she knows how to improvise her script and claim it as her own. because of that, i don't dislike her anymore :p

then 2 PM came and it was time for a 2-hour meeting. and because of that, i missed Roxanne, Mitch, Melissa, and Hero's 2 spiels. but i was able to have my pic taken with Hero! oh which reminds me, i gotta get that file. towards the end of Hero's recording, Joseph arrived. he's a pretty quiet guy. he was just listening to his CDs with his disc player the whole time he was not recording. yes, he doesn't have an IPod yet.

and last but not the least person, Joross . . . did not arrive as scheduled. we couldn't wait for him as we didn't want to pay for another hour at the studio.

so there. my own scq day.
