negotiating panel

there's this artist that we will be using for our EDSA billboard and flyers with nationwide distribution. we have been negotiating with him for mooooooonths.

the deal was a 6-digit TF, billboard and flyer placement in exchange for signing up with Kapamilya KaText. i would like to think that that is a pretty fair deal since we don't normally have strings attached when signing up with artists. but guess what? the manager of this Pa-Piso-Pisong-Load Boy wants us to throw in an additional P900 phone for his artist to sign up. egad!

zero files

tuesday evening i decided to go to the office early the next day. early meaning before 10AM. so i woke up early and was in the office early. but i booted up my pc, it said "NO OS FOUND". f!@#$^^&*()t!

my hard drive crashed and i haven't been able to back up my files so that leaves me with zero files now.

i'm like a new employee in the office now, the ultimate palaboy. sometimes they call me squatter, no permanent cubicle. haaayy poor me.

there is no hard drive in stock right now and the admin officer has to order it pa, so i'm guessing work will resume next year. mwahahahahaha :)

what's the quickest way to collapse?

with all the work and as i have reached my elasticity limit, i just want to collapse so that i would have a valid reason to get some rest. what's the quickest way to collapse?

any suggestions?

i have a 9-chapter reading assignment for this tuesday's class. now i'm complaining when i was so set to go back to school early this year. haha. i'll just read the chapter summaries. hahahahaha :)

a rush of blood, II

last monday's TVC shoot costume requirements are the ff:
- bold colors
- streetwear
- 4 sets
- no blue

pretty clear right? so when Grand Champion arrived, i immediately asked him about the costumes. he said in tagalog: i'm wearing my costume already. huwhaaaaaaaat? he can't be kidding me since he was wearing a black shirt. i am so sure that black is not a bold color. so i went to look for my team mate to call Grand Champion's manager and reprimand her for not following the costume requirements. and then i went to look for Koya and ask him why was there only one set of costume and definitely not in bold color. Koya replied in tagalog: black is a bold color right? and then my blood pressure skyrocketed. i asked Grand Champion's road manager to provide him with bold colored shirts. they came back with a dozen shirts alright but the brand of the shirt was too flashy. we had to make do with the black shirt. good thing that we are reshooting. sigh.

after 2 weeks of almost no sleep, tons of coffee and sugar, the new service will not be launched this weekend. great. just great. changing brand names in the last leg of the project execution is not a good idea. i don't care anymore when it will be launched. i will work my ass off after the storyboard is etched in stone.

birthday greets

Happy Birthday Mom! :) wala akong gift. hugs and kisses na lang. haha :)

happy 20th birthday also to That Korean Girl. i'm pretty sure she enjoyed her birthday party. too bad for us, we didn't. oops. haha. i'm just not used to going to parties anymore where you can't have alcoholic drinks. the stubs handed out only included drinks like iced tea, lemonade and softdrinks. sheesh. and please, the stage is not a dance floor. it is a stage.

we are coming up with a new service for all KText artists and subscribers. the clue is right there in the title. it has kept me busy since i arrived from bora since both the print ad and TVC will break this weekend.

hola! i'm proud to day i'm 10 shades darker now that i'm back from bora. (may ikakaitim pa pala ako haha :p)
