things i hate seeing on my way to work

(1) the MMDA employees "cleaning" the pink fences with rags. any luck in cleaning them?

(2) the much-publicized fasting of this certain priest. that will not solve the crisis this country is facing.

(3) smoke-belching buses. how could have they passsed the smoke emission test?!?!?

on my way out of the office yesterday, my officemate greeted me a happy birthday. oh please. what's this, a weeklong celeb? no no no!!!! S-T-O-P-I-T!

i was filling up an HR form earlier today. age is one of the fields in the form. i hastily wrote 25 on the blank. i can't believe i'm turning older in a few days. bring out all the forms now! i have to cherish these last few days of my 25-hood. haha :)

bounce bounce

i heard the "bounce bounce" song today on the way to work so i remembered this incident last summer.

it was during one of our mall shows. Novo Ecijano was one of our artists performing that day. after my artists were settled down backstage, i was going to prepare their materials with the audioman.

Bratty: Ano kakantahin mo?

Novo Ecijano: Ignition po.

i looked at the CD and couldn't find the Ignition song in the tracklist.

Bratty: San dito?

Novo Ecijano: Yang Bounce Bounce po.

HUWATTTT?

i found out that the sound engineer in the recording studio where Novo Ecijano recorded his material didn't know the title of the song. he thought that since "bounce bounce" was repeated in the song so much, it was probably the title. jeez.

apathy

yesterday, OJT Killer asked "May gobyerno pa ba tayo?". i surprised myself with my answer "Ewan."

i just couldn't care less with what's happening around. why? i'm too tired of the political quarrels, the almost-everyday rallies, the forever increasing prices, the depreciating peso and the media frenzy accompanied with it.

heck, i cared more for Live 8. i was up till 2 AM last Sunday because i was watching it (almost) live on ABC 5.

sorry for all the apathy.

my throat hurts =( sign that i'm about to get sick. i'm not making this up!!!! :) hahaha :) swear :) the chamomile tea didn't help ease my sore throat. waaaaahhhh!
