maganda ka pa naman ineng

i saw on my officemate's computer screen an Excel sheet with 4 columns. the first column is text and the last 3 columns are numbers. multiplying the second and the third columns will give the contents of the fourth column.

.......................... but she was holding a calculator where she kept on punching numbers and then she will key in the result shown in the calculator in the Excel sheet.

being an Excel lover, i couldn't help myself but ask her what she was doing.

bratty: day day day (yeah, im in my Bisaya mode) anong ginagawa mo?
ineng: nag co compute.
bratty: eh excel na nga yang gamit mo eh. yan silbi niyan.
ineng: eh ms bratty ang hirap kasi sa excel eh. kelangan pa gumamit ng mouse para mag compute.

i was so aghasted with what she said so i showed her how to move to cells while creating a formula without using the mouse.

ineng: o tignan mo ang hirap ng ginagawa mo.

maybe i don't have the "credibility" or maybe i just look so stupid to her that i asked the help of the Yoda to convince her that using Excel in computations will make her life easier.

yoda: pareho lang ba yung formula para sa column na to?
ineng: opo.

*yoda creates the formula and then copies it in the remaining cells*

yoda: o ayan, tapos na ang computation mo.
ineng: ay ang galing!

p o t a ! kaya pala maganda ka, seksi, matangkad kasi kulang ka sa gray matter!!!!!

and to think her boss is the Excel guru in the office. she's in luck, her boss is in the States. or her boss would be so ashamed of her.
