about to end

since sunday, my mobile has been on silent mode because i don't want to take any call or answer any text message from my officemates, artists, handlers and road managers. i can actually last a day without checking my mobile. i check my phone right before i hit the sofa. i just want to savor my remaining days here.

yet, this day has been full of reminders that my leave is about to end.

Reminder 1:
since my fone is on silent mode, any incoming call or message will make my phone vibrate. around 8 AM, my nerves were rattled and i was forced to open my eyes when OJT Killer texted me something like (sorry, deleted the message already) "hey wake up! time for work." i just had to tell him that i am still in davao. i could see right through OJT Killer's intention of texting me. he was in the international airport, at the pre-boarding area, since he was bound for bangkok. he thought he could envy me. ha! better luck next time :)

Reminder 2:
about lunch time, i got a call from my officemate regarding our precious <insert sarcasm here> Grand Questor's contract. i thought i had that sorted out in my bilin list but our lawyer insisted on something else. argh! so that would mean i will sort that out again when i come back. he even told me that the 2 new flavors of Pepsi are already available at the convenience store in the office building. i just couldn't see the connection between the contract we were discussing and the 2 new soda flavors.

Reminder 3:
i logged in my office email and saw this message from my teammate who's just recently joined us.

Hello, musta ka na? si Curlash to, wala pa kasi yung kaberks nating si Bratty, kaya, kwentuhan muna tayo. Anung masasabi mo kay Bratty? Hahaha, kailangan mag-ingat muna tayo, parating na kasi siya, baka mabatukan niya ako.. hahaha.. hindi, pero seriously.. sobrang subsob sa trabaho yan.. bakit kaya? hahaha.. Ay! andito na siya, muntik na tayong mahuli.. sige, sa susunod na lang tayo magkwentuhan, pag wala siya.. :)

OMG! i think she's going crazy already. she wrote this ringback tone script as part of her email. she even called me today to ask where she's eating lunch. jeez. how subtle can you tell me that i need to go back to work already?

Reminder 4:
Celeb Brand Manager texted me to help him out today because he has 2 big meetings tomorrow. meaning presentations, stats and analysis. no fucking way was he serious right? he knew i was still on leave. too bad, i was so hooked playing Legend of Mana when he texted that i totally forgot to reply. bwahahaha :)

yeah, yeah, yeah. i'll be there monday. relax ok?
