freeloader weekend

i spent the evening of Friday the 13th with officemates watching the back-to-back concerts of Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight. we all got the tickets for free, and we were not fans of these artists, and we had nothing better to do that night. what happens when these 3 conditions come together? a bunch of girls lambasting the artists and annoying their neighbors in the end. but we all had a blast, and a doze every now and then.

VDay was spent in a much appreciative way. i had lunch with Denialqueen, Dakila, Carambs and Carambs' mom at, wherelse, Manang's. then when Carambs had to go to her Learning Links, we - Denialqueen, Dakila and me - had coffee at Mocha Blends. then spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping before heading to Shangrila Streetscape to watch D'Sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i bow thee to this Norwegian trio. they are totally awesome!!!! i have to thank Nous Nours for the tickets ü

they sang around 20 songs. couldn't remember all the songs they sang but here goes - breathe in breathe out, do i need a reason, talkin' talk, disco ironic, enjoy, down on the street, good man good girl, people are people, dancing in the moonlight (boracay!!!!!), love is on my way (my personal fave!) and everybody's favorite, tattooed on my mind. lovely night! ü
